+ Fresh GameGuard directory
- Delete the GameGuard folder in your systemfolder.
- On connect the GameGuard folder will be refreshed.
+ DNS Flush
- Windows XP
# START
# RUN
# Type: "cmd"
# Press "OK" (black screen appears)
# Type: "ipconfig /flushdns"
# Press: Enter
DNS wiped from the computer.
- Windows VISTA
# My computer
# C:
# Windows
# SYSTEM32
# RIGHT CLICK CMD
# Select "Run as admin" form the menu
# Type: "ipconfig /flushdns"
# Press: Enter
DNS wiped from the computer
+ Clear temporaly internetfiles & cookies
- Open your webbrowser
- Look for options or extra menu
- Delete cookies in webbroswer
- Delete temporaly internet files
+ Update firmware (cable/rooter software etc)
- Turn off computer
- Remove all hardware from the electric net:
# computer
# modem
# rooter/hub
# ...
- Wait 10 minutes
- Plug all in
- turn computer on
New firmware will be installed
+ Clear your hostfile
- Go to c:windows/system32/drivers/etc/hosts
- Leave only "127.0.0.1 localhost" in your hostfile
- Save & exit file
